You will need:

 
1 container of 200gr of yogurt (full or low fat)
1 cucumber with peel, grated 
1 clove of garlic, pressed (if you wish strong taste of garlic, have two clove)
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil 
2 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (not necessarily)
1 tablespoon salt 
1 tablespoon black or white ground pepper 
 
 
Preparation:
 
Stir together yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil in a bowl. Add dill, salt, and pepper and mix it until it gets smooth. Pour into a serving dish, cover tightly, and refrigerate before serving. The secret of the success of the tzatziki is the cucumber.  Before grating it you must remove the seeds and then salt it a little.  This will avoid the sauce from becoming watery.  Good luck!
